FUTURE FOLK
We blend dance music with highlander traditions. Michał Chyc - Olesiok and Szymon Chyc - Magdzin, 
hailing from Zakopane, infuse their music with the traditional folk elements of the region, while Matt Kowalsky ensures a modern, polished compose and production style.
  • June 5, 2012: Release of debut album Zbacowanie, featuring singles such as “Janko,” “Twarda skała,” and “Dukaty.”
  • 2013: Competed in the fifth season of Polsat’s Must Be the Music. Tylko muzyka, reaching the semi-finals.
  • May 31, 2014: Won the main award at the XII Sopot TOPtrendy Festival's "Trendy" competition with the song “Malinowa dziewczyno.”
  • 2015: Released their second studio album, Zbójnicki after.
  • February 2018: Reached the finals of Poland’s national selection for the 63rd Eurovision Song Contest with the song “Krakowiacy i górale.”
  • 2019-2020: Released singles “Z ognia z wody,” “W czarcim kręgu,” and “Drogi Dwie.”
In 2023, the band underwent a significant change with the departure of vocalist Stanisław Karpiel-Bułecka, who was succeeded by the equally talented Michał Chyc - Olesiok, representing the voice of a new generation. In early 2024, the band released the single “Hej, Szalała…” featuring their new vocalist and began working on material for their next album.Future Folk is where tradition meets innovation, creating a sound that resonates with both the past and the present.
